Crisis Support

If you, or someone you know, is struggling emotionally and needs support, please call the Nevada County Crisis Line at 530-265-5811. This is a service of Nevada County Behavioral Health, and Sierra Mental Wellness Group. A Mobile Crisis Team is now available. The Mobile Crisis Team is intended to be a non-law enforcement response and can provide support to individuals in Nevada County, who are having a mental health or substance use crisis, wherever they are, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, free of charge.

This service is independent of, and complements, the law enforcement Mobile Crisis Team established by the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. The law enforcement Mobile Crisis Team responds with a Sheriff’s deputy and, between 7am and 7pm, a behavioral health clinician. Dial 911 for the Sheriff’s Mobile Crisis Team.

There’s no shame in needing help. You don’t have to suffer alone.
