Nevada County Pride and The San Joaquin Pride Center are teaming up to educate us in all things LGBTQ+ including pronouns, the transgender umbrella, as well as being "hip" to using the correct LGBTQ+ language. No registration is required and we have about 100 seats, so please mark your calendars!

The Cultural Awareness and Diversity Training is our staple LGBTQ+ 101 training that includes:

• To navigate through definitions and pronouns within the community

• Engage in conversations

• Keeping up to date on the community and the spectrums within it

• To create opportunities to celebrate diversity, intersectionality and competency when talking to someone who is coming out

  There will be fun and participatory interactive breakout groups as well as keeping a positive lens while going over the impacts that the LGBTQ+ community/ youth faces. 
  Our goal is to help groups organically grow their spaces and education around LGBTQ+ topics and culture.
  The Sweet Spot will be there to provide some treats as well!
