Saturday August 17, 2024 Potluck and Pool Party

Please join us for one of our most popular events! Long time member and host, Uli Paulin, will again be hosting us at his beautiful Nevada City home for an all afternoon event. This event is open to everyone from the queer community and their allies. See the details below.

Pool and Dinner Times, Safety and Attire

— The main event starts at 2:00 pm with potluck main course being served around 4 pm. Please bring appetizer, main, salad, side, or dessert to share.

— Consider bringing finger food suitable for serving outdoors throughout the afternoon. This event is all outdoors, kitchen facilities will not be available.

— If you have folding outdoor chairs for around the pool, please bring them, so we have enough seating

— An outdoor shower and indoor changing room will be available.

— Swim attire will be required.

—  No glass in pool area, please 

— Smoke or vape only in the dedicated area in front of the garage. Be aware of the fire danger.

NOTE that the potluck event will end at 6 PM to be followed by a special party featuring Lorraine Gervais and band. A $25 donation to benefit Nevada County Pride is suggested to attend. Attendance is limited and RSVP is required at Evite link that was sent out in Newsletter. We are nearly up to capacity now, so if you are not registered yet, don’t delay.

What to Bring:

• A dish to share (appetizer, salad, main, side dish, or dessert)

• Your own beverages to drink, including alcohol

• $5 to support the on-going potlucks, but no one will be turned away who cannot donate

• Please, bring no pets

• Please see the hosts if you can volunteer to help clean up at the evening’s end
