Sunday July 10, 2022 Potluck and Pool Party

Please join us for one of our most popular events! Long time member and host, Uli Paulin, will again be hosting us at his beautiful Nevada City home for an all afternoon event. This event is open to everyone from the queer community and their allies. See the details below.

Pool and Dinner Times

— For early birds and especially families with children, the pool will be open starting at noon.

— The main event starts at 2:30 pm with potluck main course being served around 4 pm. Please bring appetizer, main, salad, side, or dessert to share.

— Consider bringing finger food suitable for serving outdoors throughout the afternoon.

— A propane gas BBQ is available.

— If you have folding outdoor chairs for around the pool, please bring them, so we have enough seating

— Early birds are welcome to enjoy their own drinks & snacks if they so desire.

 Safety and Attire

— The fencing around the pool & deck is not complete & small children might be at risk of falling.

— Please make sure children are supervised at all times to keep them safe & happy.

— Before 5pm, adults are expected to wear swim suits in and around the pool.

— An outdoor shower and indoor changing room will be available.

— Expect water temperature to be in the 70ies, possibly low 80ies depending on weather.

— Sunscreen and other oily lotions are bad for the pool filter. Please make sure they have been absorbed completely and wait a few minutes before entering the water.

— Smoke or vape only in the dedicated area in front of the garage. Be aware of the fire danger.

Donations

 — NC Pride asks for a $3 donation towards the host’s expenses. Uli is donating all proceeds for this event back to NCP.

— UIi will cover for those who cannot or do not wish to contribute money.

— NC Pride recently upgraded the website and is seeking donations to cover the expense. Please consider donating more if you can. Cash, Checks, and Zelle welcome!
