Queer Reads: My Favorite Thing is Monsters

Queer Reads is a monthly adult book club (18+) celebrating the diverse voices of queer authors, characters, stories and joy. Join us each month as we celebrate queer storytelling and foster the discovery of new ideas and unfamiliar lived-experiences.

In January 2024 we will be discussing the graphic novel My Favorite Thing is Monsters (Vol. 1) by Emil Ferris. Trigger warnings for sexual violence, racism, and holocaust imagery in this book. This book is a bit heavier than our typical Queer Reads picks!

Copies of the next month's book are available on a first-come first-served basis at all Queer Reads meetings and at the Nevada County Library.
